 galoo Twist!\n\n\n\n\nMidnight Boogaloo is a collective of musicians coming
  from all around the Milky Way. This project was founded by Colombian guita
 r player Alan Ruiz with the intention of bringing latin "descargas" back to
  the streets. Influenced by the New York sound of Jazz\, Soul and Tradition
 al Latin music from the 60’s and 70’s\, this project emerges from the r
 ich and diverse Vancouver music scene.\nThis band is a high energy act that
  will move you physically and emotionally. The repertoire is a mix of origi
 nal and Folk music from Latin America including styles like Cumbia\, Salsa 
 and Boogaloo with a Rock and Roll aesthetic.\nThis performance is part of S
