DESCRIPTION:Join us for the final Staircase Sounds concert of the season\, 
 featuring three of Canada’s most talented guitarists! Established on Cana
 da’s beautiful West Coast in 2007\, the Victoria Guitar Trio is one of to
 day’s leading classical guitar ensembles. Described as “energetic and e
 ngaging”\, audiences and reviewers have heralded the trio for their virtu
 osity and depth of interpretation. Their concert repertoire is diverse and 
 includes original transcriptions of early music\, Spanish and Latin-America
 n guitar favorites\, and new cutting-edge works. The Victoria Guitar Trio i
 s committed to enriching the contemporary guitar repertoire and to promotin
 g the music of Canadian composers\, they have premiered many new works and 
 released their debut CD of all-original Canadian music for three guitars in
  2017. The current lineup for the trio is Adrian Verdejo\, Michael Dias\, a
 nd Michael Kolk.\nPublic Disco\, the Vancouver non-profit bringing undergro
 und electronic music into public space since 2017\, opens its 10th season w
 ith a free\, all-ages two-day block party beneath the Granville Bridge. Fri
 day is curated by Brendocha\, moving through salsa\, dembow\, guaracha\, an
 d Latin tech\, with guest selectors from Montreal\, roaming salsa lessons\,
  and live dance performances. Saturday shifts into disco and house\, curate
 d by 2flowers\, with groove-led sets that build steadily through the evenin
 g. Lot 55 opens into a full weekend hangout with licensed bars\, food vendo
 rs\, shaded seating\, and family-friendly activities\, with plenty of room 
 to move between the dance floor and the rest of the island. It's also the d
 ebut of Public Disco's limited-edition 10-Year Merch Collection. No tickets
