 r allies to come together for an evening of movement\, music\, and connecti
 on in a welcoming and inclusive space.\nThe evening will begin with beginne
 r-friendly salsa lessons led by SDN's own master instructor Alejandro Zuri
 ta\, designed to make salsa/bachata & merengue dance accessible for first-t
 ime dancers and anyone curious to try something new. No dance partner or pr
 evious dance experience is required. Lead\, Follow\, Solo or Switch - danc
 e your way. Following the lesson\, participants can enjoy a lively social d
 ance atmosphere with music and lights by Vancouver Island's hottest Latin 
 DJ Pachanga Latina (DJ Moses).\nThis event is designed as a safe and suppor
 tive environment that centres the LGBTQIA2S+ community while remaining open
  to all. Organizers aim to create a space where people can feel comfortabl
 e expressing themselves\, meeting others\, and celebrating community throug
 h cultural movement and dance.\nAs part of this gathering\, we respectfully
  acknowledge that we are gathering and dancing on the traditional\, ancestr
 al\, and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation. We honour their
  enduring connection to this land and recognize the importance of coming to
