LAHM Closing Ceremony (Day of the Dead)

For the third consecutive year we closed the LAHM festival with the celebration of the Day of the Dead, where we remember our loved ones and we remember them by putting a photo or candle on the community Altar. As well as Aztec dancers, mariachi, music and typical food of this tradition.

Cash Bar  and food available to purchase.

On this night we celebrate life beyond death with the Day of the Dead at the close of the Festival, you can bring the photo of your loved one to place it on the altar of the dead and we will light candles. We will also enjoy the participation of one of the best Mexican folklore groups in Vancouver Nahualli Folklore, followed by an Aztec Ceremony with the group Casa Meshico and we end with the Collective Yollotl with Son Jarocho. You can bring your ukulele, cajons, percussion or some other instrument to participate in the fandango.

We recommend you register because there is limited space. Available food truck (tacos, Mexican rice bowls, atole, spicy hot chocolate and Mexican street corn on the cob)  and drinks to purchase on site.
