Día de los Muertos — Granville Island (incl. Catrina’s Party)

A colorful celebration of life, memory, and heritage as we honor our ancestors through the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos. Savor the flavors of Latin America with culinary delights, explore a lively artisan market, and enjoy live music that brings folklore and culture to life. Participate in interactive activations, and take part in workshops crafting sugar skulls, Catrina lanterns, and other traditional arts. This celebration is more than a festival — it is a communal gathering that preserves cultural heritage, connects generations, and transforms Granville Island into a living tribute to those we love and remember. Music, art, food, and storytelling combine to create an unforgettable experience where life, memory, and tradition shine. Entrance by donation after 7 p.m. — Catrina’s Party.
