How to make an Altar de muertos (ofrenda) Presentation
In Mexico many people make altars or “ofrendas” (offerings) in their homes to honor their loved ones who have past away.
In this presentation we will learn how to create your own altar de muertos at home with Paloma. This workshop educates about the importance of the tradition of the day of the dead and its meaning. We will explore an important elements of the altar.

Paloma Morales
She was born in Mexico and at the age of 25 she moved to study in London, England, then lived in Sydney Australia where she was Vice-President of MAWAI (Mexican Australian Association INC) Representing the Mexican community in Australia Paloma and her team promoted Mexican culture through different events in different locations in Sydney. In 2019 Paloma by the hand of Latincouver have exhibited the altar of the dead at the Latin American Heritage Month in Vancouver for the general public inviting them to witness that this Mexican tradition is more alive than ever.
