Marigold Flower Making

In Mexican tradition, the cempasúchil (marigold) is known as the flower of the dead. Its vibrant orange and yellow petals are believed to guide the spirits back to the living world during Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations.

In this hands-on workshop at Brentwood Mall Plaza, participants will craft their own paper marigolds using crepe and tissue paper while learning about the cultural and spiritual significance of these sacred flowers.

  • Their role in ofrendas (altars) and Day of the Dead rituals
  • A creative keepsake to take home or add to your altar
  • Time : 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm (America/Vancouver)
