Grief & Emotional Regulation – Group Session
A safe space to explore grief, understand emotions, and learn tools to navigate loss with support.
Grief is something we all experience, yet it can often feel overwhelming, isolating, and difficult to understand.
This group session is the first of a two-part series designed to gently support you through that experience.
Together, we will create a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can explore your emotions, better understand your responses to loss, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
You’ll gain practical tools and insights to help you navigate grief in a way that feels more grounded, supported, and human.
This is not a clinical or therapy session, but a guided space for reflection, learning, and connection.

Session 1 – April 16, 2026
Understanding Grief & Trauma-Related Grief
In this first session, we focus on understanding grief from a broader and more compassionate perspective.
You’ll explore how grief shows up in different ways and learn how your body and mind respond to loss.
What we’ll explore:
• What grief is and how it manifests (emotionally, physically, and mentally)
• Trauma-related grief (when loss is sudden or unexpected)
• Nervous system responses (anxiety, numbness, shutdown, shock)
• Why your reactions are valid and normal
• A space for reflection and connection (sharing is always optional)
